Rangel | Simmons Contracting

This year will mark 10 years of practicing carpentry for me, Dalton Rangel. I started my journey in high school when I decided to enroll myself in the carpenter classes at votech. I completed one year of training for framing carpentry.

 

After graduation high school I was hired at a local general contracting company in Bossier. I started out as a carpenter helper and worked my way to a lead carpenter. I enjoy working with my hands and being in the elements. ​Over the course of 3 years I worked full time as a carpenter, while taking night classes at Bossier Parish Community College. I studied Construction management and graduated with an associates degree.

Once I graduated college I was moved into a supervisor position, and then moved to a project manager position. Over the next 4 years I was able to manage multi-million dollar projects, as they went from raw undeveloped land to completion.

I made the decision 2 years ago to follow my dream... that is to build yours!  We have been in business for 2 years now and we are ready and excited to take our business to the next level! Help us write the next chapter in our life!
